As of today, Ontario has 4,726 confirmed cases of Covid-19. Schooling has started online, as teachers, students, and parents, try to figure it all out.

I have found myself to be in a bit of a fog lately. Sleeping more than I should, and not being as productive during the day. I realize that this is because I have no schedule, so tonight, I am setting my alarm to get up in the morning and plan my day. Nothing too strenuous but enough to give me back some normalcy. I started a daily water challenge with some friends to help keep me on track. Hydration is so important, and when not on a normal daily schedule, it can be easy to forget to drink enough water.

I am going to schedule my mornings to journal, read, meditate and do a workout. I need to be more mindful of my nutrition, as it has been easy to choose, sugary treats and junk food or skipping meals altogether.

I am sure I am not the only one facing these challenges, and I hope that I can help inspire you, to create a routine and self care habit. I don’t know how long this is going to last, but I am hoping, to make the best of it while it is here. Will we return to normal when this is all over, or will there be a new normal, that we will have to adjust to? Whatever the outcome, I am hoping to be physically and mentally healthy when that time comes. Small steps everyday will get us all there. What are you going to commit to?

Stay Safe, Stay Healthy,

Michelle
