The number of confirmed cases went up by 60 today bringing our number in Ontario to 518. The border between Canada and United States will now be closed at midnight to all essential travel. It is Friday night and I can’t help but wonder how many people are out socializing tonight.

I spoke to my parents today who are in Florida. The grocery store there had no meats, dairy or bread. It is crazy to think that this panic buying is happening on both sides of the border. Vince drove by our local grocery store today ( he is still working) and the parking lot was full and cars were parked down the road. My daughter had to go get cat food today. The store was not letting customers into the store. She had to tell them what she needed and the employee inside retrieved it for her and then they asked for debit or credit only. They did not want to take cash.

On a happier note, Vince and I decided to binge watch Coronation Street this afternoon. We used to watch it all the time on Sunday mornings at the cottage. We hadn’t seen it in years. It took no time to get back into the story line with all the characters and their craziness. We are definitely hooked again.

I am taking an on-line course in writing at Fleming College so I spent a few hours working on an assignment for class. I also made a schedule for my day that I am hoping to start following tomorrow.

My schedule plan for the day is as follows:

9:00am – 12:00pm- -wake up, enjoy my coffee, write in my journal, gratitude. Do some reading, crochet and pretty much just “me”time.

12:00pm – 1:00pm– do some household chores.  Picking one area of the house each day to work on

1:00pm – 3:00pm– working on school work, writing, planning, and business plans.

3:00pm – 4:00pm– Work out

4:00pm – 5:00pm– meal planning and prepping for dinner

Evenings– blogging, watching our show, and crocheting. Connect with family and friends through social media, texting, phone calls etc.

This is just a start for now to give me some resemblance of order to my day and to make sure I work on my school work each day. It will probably become more detailed as the days go by.

I wish everyone a lovely weekend.

Stay Safe, Stay Healthy,

Michelle
