Ontario had 100 positive cases of covid-19 today. That brings our total to 688 for the province. The numbers are getting higher each day.
This is certainly a weird time in our lives:
- Having to stay home.
- Schools closing down.
- People buying all the toilet paper.
- Being told not to socialize.
- Staying a distance of 6 feet from each other.
Think of the stories our children and grandchildren are going to be telling years from now. Will our world, as we know it, return to normal after this? Will we have a better appreciation of the things we all take for granted on a daily basis?
I think that it would be nice for us all to use this time to learn something new. Is there a skill you have always wanted to learn? An on-line class you have always wanted to take? A book you have been meaning to read? What better time than now to do all these great ideas. Finish the craft projects that you started but never finished. I know I have a lot of those.
How are you choosing to spend your time at home? Let’s think of this as a reset and use the time wisely. Before our world returns, to the crazy hustle and bustle, and we find ourselves wishing for some down time.
Stay Safe, Stay Healthy
