At the time of writing this they are reporting 44 new cases of covid-19 bringing the total in Ontario to 258. They have been setting up testing sites with the newest one today being in Orillia.
Today was another pretty uneventful day here for me. A friend that I work with has started a daily check in to make sure we are all staying healthy. I love this idea. I also spent some time on the phone with a friend and together we worked out a crochet project.
My husband and I braved the world after dinner to go to the local grocery store. I was very conscious to wipe down my cart and not touch my face the entire time. It was surprisingly not busy. I needed fresh produce as I am still trying to keep my nutrition on point. It is so easy to sit at home all day and eat junk food. Luckily the produce aisles were full. I took a look in the rice and pasta aisle out of curiosity and sure enough it was empty. We also made our way over to the canned food section and there was slim pickings left there as well. The most surprising thing was the bread section. It was almost empty of everything. The whole thing seems so surreal. They had toilet paper with a limit of one per person. I am still not understanding the whole toilet paper panic buying thing.
Tomorrow I am going to work on a schedule for my day. I am the type of person who likes lists and schedules. I am feeling lost sitting at home all day. I will show you my schedule tomorrow night and let you know how it worked out.
Stay Safe, Stay Healthy
