I know I sure did! I also travelled to Florida and didn’t drink near enough water. As a result, I ended up not feeling my best and very fatigued. It is so easy to get into bad habits while on holidays, especially when you have a sweet tooth like me.
On Monday January 6, I joined a network of women, and started a 3 day refresh program. I loved this cleanse as it was only for 3 days! It was to get you back on track and help to rid yourself of cravings for the junk food. It provided all the necessary nutrients that our body needs though shakes and fresh fruits and vegetables. I was very surprised at how easy it was and not once did I feel hungry. On day 2 I awoke with a headache. I checked in with the online group to find that I wasn’t the only one. One lady shared that, although she doesn’t like black coffee, she had one with a dash of cinnamon in it and it was a game changer. I tried it and she was right. It did help to ease the headache.
Now that the 3 days is over I feel amazing. It was so worth it. It took away the belly bloat, I have more energy, and as a bonus I lost 4 pounds. It also cleared up some dry skin spots that I have had for years on my face.
This year is about maintaining my health and trying to stay on track with my goals. This includes working on nutrition, movement with exercise, meditation, reading, practicing Reiki, blogging and helping others to become the best versions of themselves.
So here is to 2020. Feel free to follow me this year for all the results and tips that I will be sharing.
