by With summer now upon us I figured it was time to start my blog finally. If you know me personally, you already know how much I love books. It’s a bit of an obsession!
I have to thank my mom for getting me hooked on reading at a young age. She is also an avid reader and has passed that gene down to me as I have passed it on to my daughter.
If you are looking to get into a great series of books this summer, I would suggest the J.D. Robb “In Death” series. I have a love for these books and enjoy the futuristic aspects that she creates. You don’t have to necessarily read them in order, unless you really like to follow the history of the main characters and the relationship changes, the books themselves touch back on the history. These books follow Lieutenant Eve Dallas and her husband Roarke in the mid-21st century New York and contain mysteries and murders to solve with futuristic ideals. Each book is a whole story within itself, with a beginning and an ending, which is why they can be read out of order should one wish.
If you would like to read them in order the first book is,Naked in Death, published in 1995.
These books cover suspense, mystery, humour, love, and friendship and will delight readers of all sorts.
